As the franchised Operator of the Chick-fil-A® restaurant business featured on this website (the “Operator”), I am sensitive to issues concerning your privacy, and I am committed to respecting the privacy rights of my franchised Chick-fil-A® restaurant’s customers, visitors, and other users of this website located at www.cfarestaurant.com/butlerpointeplaza(the “Site” or “Operator Site”). I believe that it is important that you understand how my franchised business and I treat the information that we receive from you. The Chick-fil-A Franchise System

Chick-fil-A, Inc. owns and operates a franchise system that is a restaurant network made up of company-owned, franchised and licensed Chick-fil-A® restaurants. Chick-fil-A franchised Operators own and operate their own individual franchised businesses. Chick-fil-A Licensees own and operate their own licensed businesses.

We may share information collected through this Site with Chick-fil-A, Inc, its affiliates and other franchised Operators or Licensees. Any entity and/or person that receives such information will be required to adhere to this Privacy Policy.

Franchised Operator Website

This Site was created and is maintained by me as a franchised Chick-fil-A Operator. As an independent franchised business person, I am separate and legally distinct from Chick-fil-A, Inc. and its affiliates.

Subject to certain terms and conditions, Chick-fil-A, Inc. offered me the right to create and maintain this Operator Site for my franchised restaurant business, which is linked to Chick-fil-A, Inc.’s website, www.chick-fil-a.com. As a condition to allowing me to establish this linked Operator Site regarding my franchised restaurant business, I agreed to abide by Chick-fil-A, Inc.’s current Privacy Policy in operating this Site. You should carefully review this Privacy Policy to determine the privacy policies of this Site. Chick-fil-A, Inc. is not responsible or liable for this Site or any online behavior and actual privacy practices in connection with this Site.

Chick-fil-A, Inc. does not:

• exercise control over my Operator Site;
• monitor, endorse or review the content of my Operator Site (provided, however, Chick-fil-A, Inc. does monitor and review the content of my Operator Site for adherence to Chick-fil-A, Inc.’s minimum website standards regarding design and the display and presentation of Chick-fil-A, Inc.’s proprietary marks and for no other purpose);

We do not collect Sensitive Personal Information. Sensitive Personal Information includes information pertaining to racial origins, religious beliefs, and sexual orientation.

Collection and Use of Employment Applicant Personal Information

No applications for employment obtained or received through this Site may be used or made to obtain employment with Chick-fil-A, Inc. and its affiliates. Chick-fil-A, Inc. and its affiliates are separate entities and employers from the Operator’s franchised business.

If, through this Site, you obtain and complete an application for employment with my franchised restaurant business, we will use your Personal Information to evaluate your application for an employment position with my franchised restaurant business only. By applying to become an employee of my franchised restaurant business, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information in this manner. Personal Information collected from an individual applicant includes, but is not limited to: name, address, telephone numbers, status to work lawfully in the United States, educational background, employment history and background, and other information pertinent to employment qualifications. Failure to provide any requested information, including but not limited to requested Personal Information, may negatively impact consideration of your application to become an employee of my franchised restaurant business.

Children's Privacy

WE DO NOT SPECIFICALLY OR KNOWINGLY COLLECT INFORMATION ABOUT CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13. WE DO NOT KNOWINGLY REQUEST, SOLICIT OR COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM ANY PERSON WE KNOW TO BE UNDER THE AGE OF 13 WITHOUT PRIOR VERIFIABLE PARENTAL CONSENT. In the event that we receive actual knowledge that we have collected or received Personal Information from anyone under the age of 13 without the requisite and verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information from our data base as soon as practicable.

If we collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13 with verifiable parental consent, we will ensure that:

• Parents will be given a choice as to whether their child’s Personal Information will be disclosed to any third parties prior to any such disclosure;
• Parents will have access to their child’s Personal Information upon their request and the opportunity to remove or delete the child’s Personal Information and opt-out of future collection or use of the child’s Personal Information;
